iBD... now I see where iBG gets his wry, sarcastic sense of humor...
I refer to the explanation given in My Big Fat Greek Wedding: "Let me tell you something, Toula. The man is the head, but the woman is the neck. And she can turn the head any way she wants."
Please don't offer false flattery by giving inbubblenation the impression that I am the boss of the house. You have probably really irriated inbubblemom with this slap against her legitimate claim to the throne at 211 Pearson. So go ahead and reference todays obviously magnificant book for all the help you can get when dealing with your one and true boss, but when coming home the next time; bring a food taster.
Yet another author beats me to the punch on a book I could've written! And mine would have been my own crazy bosses, with a sequel on the crazy bosses others have had. [sigh] Guess you better let me win so I can see what I coulda writ.
WOW...not since the days of Earl Weaver being frustrated by Gaylord Perry have I seen such a great display. Sorry I couldn't listen to the audio; it must be classic!
That said; Phil isn't a NutJob he was just providing a learning moment and letting his team regroup. It's the manager that blows up in the dugout that is the NutJob; the one kicking the cooler, throwing bats or gloves, etc...
Taking on the enemy, aka umpires, is the duty of the leaders!
Rock on iBWG, don't worry about iBWL or iBWP they'll understand.
What a terrific book to be re-made! I think we've all had our share of Crazy Bosses and can relate. I am trying not to become one, so maybe I better read this book before it's too late!
Crazy...like a FOX!

These bosses seem normal to me even if they are a little subdued.

I meant at WORK you are A boss, as is iBLF. I didn't say THE boss. We know inBubbleMom holds that title.
