Your Boss is a Nut Job
You think you have a crazy boss? Take 2 minutes and 16 seconds to watch THIS GUY.
Seriously, did you watch it? How freaking awesome was the rosin bag grenade toss that landed perfectly at the feet of the umpire??? Wow!
Or maybe your boss is more like THIS NUTJOB...
There are a lot of whack job bosses out there. Sometimes they even disguise themselves as normal people. But get them in a hairy situation and watch out. And who better to write about insane managers than the always entertaining and insightful Stanley Bing. Nobody! That's why today's book is Stanley's own,Crazy Bosses.
Bing originally published Crazy Bosses back in 1992. At the time he was a scared little man being made miserable by demented managers. The book was an examination of what made the people in power so sick in the head. It was a good read. But now, after 15 years and more than a boatload of insane bosses later, Stanley has revised and updated the original book with even more poignant material.
Stanley takes on all types of crazy bosses: the Bully, the Paranoid, the Narcissist, the Wimp, and the Disaster Hunter. They are all unique and different, but rest assured, they are all insane. And Bing not only explains the differences, he tells you why they are all loopy on the fumes.
But here's the best part - Stanley Bing somehow managed to become a crazy boss that he warned us against in 1992. He couldn't avoid being stricken with the institutional dementia that attacks and devours bosses of all shapes and sizes. He's crazy too. Combining his own experiences with the stories of all the other nutso leaders, Bing really delivers a treat.
You are sure to love this book if you are an employEE. But don't be scared if you are an employER. You are just going to have to admit that you are insane in one way or another. Maybe if you read Crazy Bosses, you'll be able to get a better grip on you dementia. It's worth a shot.
Wait a second...iBLF...oh crap, and inBubblePops...well, they are both bosses. Oh man am I in trouple.
